Greenland Headquarters

All expeditions flying into Constable Point airport are operated from Tangent’s base at the airport in northeast Greenland. Constable Point is a small domestic gravel air strip that provides onward access to the northeast Greenland National Park.
CNP was built in 1985 to serve as a logistics platform for
mineral exploration. Now it is primarily used for
scientific research and mining exploration
work in and around the National Park, as well as providing air transport for the village of Ittoqqortoormiit, 50km south.
There is no village or community at Constable Point. The nearest population is at this small Greenland village. Ittoqqortoormiit is accessed by snowmobile or helicopter during the winter months and by boat and helicopter during the summer months. Tangent Expeditions provides both the snowmobile and boat access to Ittoqqortoormiit.
