Tangent Expeditions are able to organise photography tours for groups of any size. Greenland offers some stunning photography oppotunities. Experience the midnight sun in the late spring and early summer, or 24 hour darkness and the incredible northern lights right overhead through the winter months.
Whether you want to photograph landscapes, wildlife or the local Inuit way of life, Tangent Expeditions can provide the logistics to make it happen.
There are two main seasons for Greenland expeditions:
Spring (mid March to mid May)
Travel during this time will be by snowmobile. You can expect temperatures below freezing, and the landscape to be snow covered.
Summer (mid July to late August)
Travel during this time will be by boat. You can expect warmer temperatures, and the landscape will be free of snow low down. Mountains maintain their snow throughout the summer.
Tangent Expeditions can provide snowmobile or boat transport (dependent on the time of year), flights & accomodation, food, guides and specialist equipment rental for photographic tours.
Most tours begin from our base at Constable Point in North East Greenland. Custom logistics for other areas throughout Greenland are also available.
